Hickory Hill is a quaint, woodland retreat on a hilltop in the
Kettle Moraine Forest. We have designed our Bed & Biscuit to pay attention to the needs and enjoyment of your very special friends while you are away. We have only 11 rooms and we are proud to be small and provide close, personal care to our guests. We limit our volume based on the care requirements of the pets, so every pet gets plenty of attention and TLC. Most of our guests are returning to visit us and it is wonderful for them to know us personally, as we provide all of their care. And, it is most enjoyable for us to know your pets, like our friends, throughout their lives!
We have planned everything for their safety and enjoyment.
Although we provide sanitized blankets for on their beds , we suggest you bring a blanket from home, safe toys, and any special treats and chewies. We provide stainless steel dishes that allow us to distribute them clean daily. Please bring your pet's own food from home packaged in individual bags containing the normal amount to be fed daily. We will divide the daily feeding into portions as you feed at home. We can refrigerate or heat any special diets your pet may need. Should you desire your pet to eat our diet we will provide Prescription Low Residue Diet for a charge based on how much your dog requires. It is also available to your pet, as a very palatable and easily digested food to prevent digestive upsets should pets be "off feed" from being in a new environment.
You may plan your pet's particular vacation package
according to what you desire for your dog. Activities available are: Woodland Nature Walks, Playtimes with us or with other dogs in our very spacious fenced yard, car rides, doggie pizza and/or ice cream. These may be scheduled to meet your pet's particular needs beyond the normal 4 exercise periods and affectionate attention we provide routinely. |
